筑波山（Mount Tsukuba）
男体山と女体山の二つの峰からなり、関東平野にそびえ立つ標高877mの名峰・筑波山。
筑波山と言えば北関東最大のパワースポットであり、山そのものがご神体として崇められてきた経緯から考えるととてつもないパワーを秘めていると思われる。
古代より山岳信仰の対象とされてきた筑波山、男体山頂に筑波男大神（伊弉諾尊）を、女体山頂に筑波女大神（伊弉冉尊）を祀る本殿が建てられており、筑波山神社拝殿は筑波山南面の中腹にある。
御祭神は伊弉諾尊（いざなぎのみこと）と伊弉冉尊（いざなみのみこと）。筑波山神社においてこれらの2神はそれぞれ「筑波男大神（つくばおのおおかみ）」、「筑波女大神（つくばめのおおかみ）」とも称される。夫婦二神を主神とする全国屈指の由緒ある名社で、夫婦和合、縁結びの神として多くの人々が参拝に訪れます。
朝は藍、昼は緑、夕は紫に山肌が表情を変えることから「紫峰（しほう）」と呼ばれ、昔から「西の富士、東の筑波」と並び称されてきました。
その美しさから「日本百名山」のひとつとして地元の人はもちろんのこと、年間を通して多くの観光客が訪れる人気のスポットになっています。
Beautiful mountain, Mount Tsukuba of 877m above sea level to soar on the Kanto plains from two peaks of Mount Nantai and the woman's body mountain.
It is the North Kanto's greatest power spot, and, speaking of Mount Tsukuba, it is thought to hide awful power when I think by the process that mountain itself has been worshiped as an object of worship.
A main shrine worshiping Tsukuba woman Ogami (伊弉冉尊) is built on the woman's body mountaintop in Tsukuba man Oga (伊弉諾尊) on Mount Tsukuba which has been targeted in the mountain worship from the ancient times, the male figure mountaintop, and there is the Mount Tsukuba Shinto shrine front shrine in the halfway up a mountain of the Mount Tsukuba southern aspect.
An enshrined deity 伊弉諾尊 (Izanagi no Mikoto) and 伊弉冉尊 (Izanami no Mikoto). These 2 God is named "Tsukuba man Oga" , "Tsukuba woman Oga" each in Mount Tsukuba Shrine. In the outstanding venerable excellent companies which assume couple Nikami the chief god of the whole country, people many as couple harmony, the god of marriage visit it for worship.
An indigo plant, lunch were green, and called it in the morning with "a purple peak" (I do it and report it) because the face of the mountain changed an expression into purple in an evening and
was admired equally with "west Fuji, east Tsukuba" from old days.
Many tourists spot the popularity to come not to mention a local person as one of "100 famous mountains in Japan" from the beauty through the year.
